Dill pickles

Ingredients:

3 cups of water
1 1/2 cups white vinegar
1tbs salt
3/4 tbs sugar
1 bunch of fresh dill
Chopped garlic cloves
About 7 pickling cucumbers

Optional ingridients for extra flavor:
-Banana peppers, jalapeño peppers, dry mexican peppers like chile de arbol (my favorite for pickling). Carrots, bell peppers, etc.

Boil mixture of water, vinegar, sugar and salt. Let it cool of completely.
Meanwhile, wash your cucumbers and cut them into desired shape, put them in mason jar with garlic, dill and any other ingredients you are adding, they could fit snuggle but not pack.
Fill mason jars with vinegar mixture and refrigerate for a minimum of 3 days. (The longer the better.
This quantities should be enough for 3 small mason jars.

Tip: make sure dill and extra ingredients are thru all the mason jar versus only the bottom or top. I like to shake or invert my mason jar in the fridge once in a while, this help pickles to have a more uniform flavor.
